Kimberly Robertson Music Movement and Creative arts April 1, 2009 operation Portfolio Hello, and welcome to Kimberlys Day Care, I am Kimberly Robertson and I pick out and range this facility. We aim visual aids such as pictorial matters, items, lop off outs, and drawings of the different items that exit be used in our body process today. Today our activity is My ABCs and Me and we lead amaze approximately 20 minutes to work with the children on nurture their ABCs. This go out continue each calendar week unti l we accept went through the whole alphabet. We result start with the lay down A and work with it today. I entrust put a sketch of an apple on the board for the children to see. I get out use the word Apple to introduce the sound of the letter, and have the children repeat the word with me, focusing on the A sound. We will discuss any of the childrens names that begin with or have an A in it. I will formulate an apple around to each of the children and let them feel it and meat it. We will have the children find items in the classroom that have the A sound in them and then to finish up the activity, I will let the children color a picture of the letter A for them to take home with them. I will make copies of the artwork for the walls in the classroom. I will as well ask the children to work with their parents to find items in their house that has the A sound in them.
