Winter Dreams is the paper of the rise of Dexter Green, a hardworking, confident(p) juvenile man who acquires caught up in the pursuit of riches and status, which is why he began working as a caddie in the first place. At fourteen, Dexter is described as the outmatch caddie in the club, making thirty dollars a month, which for the summertime was not able to be made anyplace else on the lake. He wished to be close to and last become a part of what all the golfers were--the appear things. Knowing this, as soon as Judy Jones enters Dexters life again and shows the slightest interest in him, he broke off his engagement with Irene.
